- Acid reducers (omeprazole, pantoprazole, famotidine). Keep taking your prescription; this is not a replacement for it. Long-term acid reducers can lower magnesium, which is one reason magnesium is in the base.
- Statins. We found no documented interaction with these ingredients.
- SSRIs and SNRIs (sertraline, escitalopram, venlafaxine). Sertraline and several other antidepressants block the transporter that carries vitamin B1 into cells, which raises the risk of thiamine deficiency. Saffron and lithium act on mood pathways, and ginger adds a small bleeding effect; the combination has not been studied.

How to take it

One of each, daily
One capsule of Clear and one of Cool, every day. Both patterns are covered, and you receive half of each formula's actives rather than a full serving of either.
Alternate days
Two capsules of one formula, then two of the other the next day. A full serving each time, on half the days. Better if one pattern is heavier than the other.
With food
