Support for the meal-after-meal pattern: heaviness, heat, and upper-gut discomfort.
The simple science
Why active B1 + magnesium?
Gut-brain symptoms often involve signaling, motility, sensitivity, and cellular energy. MGB+ starts with lipid-soluble B1 and magnesium glycinate, then adds formula-specific actives based on the symptom pattern.
This page is focused on upper-gut burn, post-meal heaviness, and meal tolerance.

Spicy food reentry
Cant tell you how much I missed Indian food. Cool has me eating it again. Genuine joy. I take it with breakfast specifically because thats when my reflux used to be worst. Within 2 hours of the dose Im noticeably better even on bad days. I want to share more because the off-PPI experience matters. My GI had...

Celiac plus lingering reflux
GF for 6 years and the gut healed mostly but the reflux never fully resolved. Cool closed the gap. Six weeks. My partner started taking it too after seeing my results. Hes off his daily Pepcid as well now. Family wins and we save money on antacids.

Wedge pillow no longer needed
I had a wedge pillow, an under-mattress wedge, and I was still waking up burning. Cool changed that in about 3 weeks. The wedge is in the garage. I keep the bottle on my desk at work. The 230pm reflux that used to hit after lunch doesnt show up anymore. Cant believe its this simple.

Mastic gum from a Mediterranean tree. Zinc-carnosine, a prescription ulcer drug in Japan. Most US consumer products skip both.
Spotlight 1 of 2
Mastic Gum
500 mg per capsule
The tree resin with the H. pylori receipts.
A resin from a Mediterranean tree, used for thousands of years. Modern clinical trials show it helps the body manage H. pylori (the stomach bug behind many ulcers) and improves the heavy, after-meal pattern.
Most heartburn products skip mastic gum. It's expensive and slow to source. Cool uses 500 mg per dose, the range used in the published trials.
Also called polaprezinc, this is a single molecule of zinc bound to a small protein called carnosine. Japan has approved it as a prescription ulcer drug since 1994. It works on three things at once: it protects the stomach lining, it helps the body manage H. pylori, and it calms the immune cells that drive reflux.
The form is what matters. Most US products use cheaper zinc (gluconate or citrate). Cool uses zinc-carnosine because the bonded form is what does the work.

Five things acid blockers don't touch
Beyond the acid. What your stomach actually needs.
Acid is one part of the story. There's also the lining, the muscle and nerves that move food along, the immune signal that can drive reflux, and the bacteria many of us carry that quietly inflame the stomach. Cool was built for the other four.
1
Layer 1
The bug your GI might be missing.
Mastic gum and zinc-carnosine. A lot of adults carry a stomach bug called H. pylori without knowing. It quietly drives gastritis and many ulcers. These two ingredients have decades of clinical evidence in this exact role.
2
Layer 2
The lining itself.
Aloe inner gel (200:1 concentrate) and DGL licorice. The protective mucus layer over your stomach gets thinned by acid blockers, alcohol, and stress. These two help your body restore it.
3
Layer 3
How fast the stomach moves food.
Ginger 4:1 extract and allithiamine. When food sits too long in the upper stomach, the burning and fullness get worse. Gentle motility support, no prescription needed.
4
Layer 4
The immune signal that drives reflux.
Zinc-carnosine and mastic gum. The immune cells in your stomach wall release signals that drive reflux even when the acid is suppressed. These compounds calm that immune layer.
5
Layer 5
The nerve traffic between gut and brain.
Magnesium glycinate and allithiamine. The brain side of the picture. Seven ingredients. Five mechanisms. Built to work alongside whatever else you're on, or on its own.

Why this exists
Built by an ER doctor for what's underneath the acid.
Cool exists for what's underneath the acid. I see the same patient month after month. Scoped, biopsied, normal, sent home on another acid blocker that doesn't fix the lining, the motility, the immune signal, or the H. pylori bug they might be carrying. Acid blockers do what they do. Cool handles the rest.
The upper gut has more going on than acid. The lining. How fast it moves food. The immune signal. The H. pylori many patients still carry. Acid blockers aren't built for those.
I built Cool for those parts. To work alongside what your doctor has prescribed. The acid blocker handles the acid. Cool handles the rest.
Ginger acts the fastest. Many people notice less post-meal burn in the first week. The lining support layer (mastic, zinc-carnosine, aloe, DGL) is a slower build over four to twelve weeks. The bigger pattern changes (fewer reactive episodes, more predictable mornings) show up by week eight to twelve.
Can I cancel my subscription?+
Yes. One click in your account. No retention call, no email gauntlet. Skip a month, swap formulas, or pause indefinitely. All from the same screen.
What's the 12-week pattern shift guarantee?+
Twelve weeks. That's the window your gut needs to actually shift. If the pattern hasn't moved by then, email us within 90 days of your first order and we refund it in full. No bottle return required. We'd rather swap you to a different formula at no charge than refund. Most people who weren't a match for one formula are a match for another. Email us and we'll work it out.
Can I take Cool with my acid blocker (PPI, H2 blocker)?+
Yes. Cool was built to work alongside prescription acid suppression, not to replace it. The acid blocker handles the acid. Cool supports the lining, the motility, and the immune signal. The parts most acid blockers don't address. If you're on a PPI long-term, talk to your physician about the strategy. We have no interest in interfering with your prescribed care.
Does Cool treat H. pylori?+
Cool is not a treatment for active H. pylori infection. The standard of care is a course of antibiotics plus acid suppression prescribed by your physician (typically a triple or quadruple therapy). Mastic gum and zinc-carnosine have clinical evidence for supporting the body in managing H. pylori. They're widely used alongside the standard treatment in the literature. They are not a substitute for the proven curative protocol.
Where do the ingredients come from?+
US cGMP facility. Third-party tested. Every ingredient and dose is disclosed on the bottle and the open-formula section above. We use the active form of each compound (allithiamine over thiamine HCl, zinc-carnosine over zinc gluconate, 4:1 ginger extract over powder).
Every MGB+ subscription funds gut-brain research and patient advocacy. $50,000+ directed to date. Partners: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation (Take Steps sponsor), G-PACT. We publish what we fund.
